Rear Spoiler

I am looking at rear spoiler. the car is 2006 Carbon Gray Pearl. They show a listing for Graphite Pearl for 2006 is this the same color? Can anyone tell me is application with double sided tape only. thanks

I'm not sure about the color. I think the spoiler requires two mounting hole to be drilled into the trunk lid. Double sided tape is also used in the installation. This has been a topic in a previous thread. If you do a search, you'll find at least one other recent thread on installing the trunk lid spoiler on the RL.

I was wrong, you have to drill four mounting holes per mounting instructions.

Is the spolier that heavy that you have to upgrade the truck pistons?

To be honest with you guys, even though the manufacturer recommends the drilling. You can get away with simply using double sided tape. I've used that for my lip spoiler on my Z, and for my buddy's TL. It worked FINE. Also, you can do it yourself and it's not a permanent situation if you decide to remove the spoiler down the road. $0.02.
