I have an 05 RL, and today while i was conditioning the leather, I noticed that there was a rather large gap in the right rear seat, right at the "L" part, where the seat and the back support connect. I looked at the left side, and there was no suck gap. so I'm wondering, was it on purpose? Have anyone else found this in their car, or is it just me?

Did you have the TSBs done on your RL?

 

I don't believe so. I only went for an oil change, I don't have too much mileage on the RL

 

Yes I had the same problem after TSB.Dealer fixed this after a second visit.

 

I'm sorry that i'm not familiar with the jargon used here. what does TSB mean exactly?

 

oh, wait. it means Technical Service Bulletins right? yeah, i'm pretty sure i didn't do that on my RL. unless they did it without telling me

 

oh yeah. i remember, they did something with the computer for the battery thing. yeah i found the root of the problem. thanks for pointing it out.
