My dealer is charging me $120 for changing rear differential fluid. On my way into the office it hit me that this seemed awfully high for channging fluid. I called another RL delaer who stated their cost at 69.95.

Has anyone out there had this done recently.? What were you charged?

 

1/3-1/2hr labor @ $100-$120/hr, so generally $40-$60.
Fluid is $20-$25 gal.

$90 or less sounds about right.

 

After 14,977 miles, I just had my RL in for the A-1-6 service this week. Oil change, tire rotation, and rear differential fluid change. Total bill for service that day for all three services was $121.

I'd find another dealer, if possible.
