Radio Presets and Nav settings keep resetting

Quite frequently when starting up my 06, the radio presets reset. Then sometimes but not all the time the screen color goes back to its original color and brightness (the way I bought it).
Why is it doing this? How do you prevent it? I am sick and tired of going back and changing small stuff like this.

I believe that's tied into the fobs, and it usually syncs with it. I notice this issue when I have fob 1 and 2 in the car at the same time. The car has issues with which presets to pull. On that note, gave you noticed that this happens when both fobs enter the car?

have you checked the battery terminals?
maybe, the terminals are momentarily being disconnected? which would reset radio presets

wouldnt that require you to enter in the nav and radio codes? I'd be leaning toward the key fob too.

I may have to take it in. I don't think it is the battery (it was replaced 9 months ago). It may be the key, but I just dropped $400 3 months a go a new key fob and had it programmed at the Acura dealer. I will probably have them look at it again as I have it in for service next week.

My vote is battery. These cars eat batteries.

This has something to do with which fob the car is seeing. All settings, including radio presets and screen color, can be customized to each driver. If it sees the fob for driver one it will switch to those setting and vice versa of course. If you are the only driver set all the settings the same for both driver one and driver two. It will take a few minutes to do it but that might correct your issue.
