Quick Road Trip Observations (NJ to CT)
I have about 10,000 miles on my '05RL. I took a quick ride to CT (Mohegan Sun Casino) from Central Jersey. I would like to briefly share some of my observations on the RL.
1. Ride - Smooth. The car is a real cruiser, the seats are very comfortable. I can't say anything more.
2. NAV Traffic - Awesome. If you live in the Metro NY/NJ Area, NAV Traffic works pretty good. I was able to avoid all the major congestions through NYC, and XM Channel 211 Traffic reminded me about the Yankees game and to avoid the area.
3. Gas Mileage. Impressive. Round trip mileage with some stops was about 380miles. I had a few bumper-to-bumper traffic stops (45minutes total trip). My gas mileage was 27mpg at an average speed of 57mph. I was very impressed. Still have a quarter tank left.
Overall, Totally impressed with this car. I like it more and more everyday. This car wants to be driven. It is a nice mix of technology, luxury and machinery.
