Question about 3rd gear acceleration...

I purchased my '05 RL (Lakeshore/Taupe) last week. Traveling through a passing zone on my way to the Keys, I had an opportunity to open it up a little and shift it manually. What I observed was, while accelerating in third gear between 5 and 5.5k RPMs, the RPMs dropped slightly for a moment under full acceleration! This is repeatable in the same RPM range every time.

Has anyone else experienced or noticed this or is it time to return to the dealership?

Seems to be common. I have driven two RLs and each has done the same.

Thanks for the heads-up. This is my third Acura ('01 TL, '04 TL, '05 RL) and I didn't expect anything like this based on my previous experiences.

Congrats on the RL! I have the exact same color combo. Beautiful. It will go down in history as a classic. Ok, maybe not
