Sorry, I'm late into the RL game, becoming an owner in September. Other than the three TSB's from hell (we've all gone through that mess), can someone fill me in on all the "quality issues that have been plaguing the RL?" Everyone keeps talking about all these issues and I'm not really aware of them, again exception being the 3 TSB's.

Also, on a similar topic, I frequently read posts here regarding poor quality paint job on the RL. Will someone also be kind enough to bring me up to speed on that too?

Now that I re-read your question you asked about the paint problems. Honda/Acuras are notorious for poor paint jobs - they easily chip.

 

The only other thing I can think of are a couple rattles here and there. Other than that and the TSBs - I don't know of any others (except the tires being crappy - but that can be easily fixed by replacing the tires)

 

Please read the known quirks thread carefully and you will see that most of the issues have been solved in one way or another...sometimes just errors in understanding how the RL works, sometimes just plain old bitchin' 'cos someone doesn't like the way things work, and sometimes real issues...but most are fixed.

The biggest outstanding issue seems to be with the XM refresh, where some of the RL owners are still experiencing delays in the song title update from XM...but others (thankfully I am one of them) have had no problems wih this.
