Question pulling to the right

I never did resolve the problem of programming the homelink, but then again, a small issue anymore.
This car has pulled to the right since day one, I left it with the dealer and they kept it for three days, said had a bad tire, and replaced all. I took it back and put the service manager in the back and had the service adviser drive. One response was it was natural because of the roll off of the road, nay said I, let go of the wheel and gently apply brakes and indeed, pulls to the right.

They took it again, and said to drive it for a thousand miles or so, and if it still exists bring it back. Of course, it still exists.

Anyone having the same issue with thier RL.

I really want to enjoy this car, but this issue is a constant reminder of dissatisfaction and takes all the justification of the investment out of the equation.

I had the larger tires and blackened chrome wheels installed. Could this be issue, Thanks for your input.

I have seen radials "take a seat" - tend to pull in one direction or another, but this can be, at least, diagnosed by swapping them side to side - pulling stops or goes the other direction, you pretty much know it's a tire at fault. Then swapping one from the rear up could tell you if that was the culprit or not.

Not sure what they're trying to do with the drive it for a 1,000 miles and see if it gets better, especially if the pulling is only with the brakes applied, even lightly. That sounds to me like an issue with the braking system. I would not expect that to "self heal" as they seem to expect. Think I would be looking at the braking system on that wheel to make sure all is as it should be.

Just my two cents worth...

Make them put it on the rack and check the alignment, they could have dropped it off the carrier or something.

Also, was this a new car, or did it come with "demo" miles? If it had miles on it, there's all manner of possibilities.

Pulling on braking can be alignment, tires (could be as simple as uneven inflation), brakes... they should all be checked. But your car should track dead straight on a flat road.

I had this issue with my 02 Tl-S, it was a warped rotor.
You may not feel it vibrate, but a warped rotor will 'Pull' the car because it creates more braking on one side of the car vs the other.
