My PWP RL is being delivered to my office on monday morning by the owner of the dealership. Feel like i made the right move. Added wood shift knob and backup camera. Got it for $500 over invoice. Pics to follow.

I'll be pulling the trigger tomorrow. I am still up in the air about the color, both interior & exsterior. Can't wait.

Here we go again

I just traded my 2005 RL to 2006 RL same color interior and exterior which is the celestial silver with ebony. I added the splash guards, wood knob and the rear lid spoiler. I was going to change to a different color but I still like this combo of colors the best.

Um...why would you trade in a 2005 RL for an identical 2006 RL?

Well, I didn't pull the trigger yesterday. I don't know why I keep going to my local Acura dealer on Saturdays. I was wall-to-wall people buying and taking delivery. Monday night after work is my next chance. It's OK because I am really torn about colors. I like Celestial Silver with Ebony, White Pearl with Parchment, Balck w/ Ebony or Carbon Gray w/ Ebony. If I see another combination I will most likely want that one too.

Probably to make the headlight warning chime shut the heck up.

I did pull the trigger yesterday.

Picked up a 2006 Silver and Ebony RL yesterday. I was ready to go a week ago, but had trouble picking colors. I wanted a black interior rather than a lighter color (which shows dirt IMHO), so they had a pearl with black coming in later in the week, but I was unsure of that color combination so I choose the silver and black. I also drove the GS300, M35 and liked the RL best.

Count me in...

Picked up a Redondo Red/Ebony interior just last night. 9 whole miles on it to start. Got most all the toys I could find (execpt A spec and wood steering wheel/knob).

Think the wife is more in love with the car than I am and she's got her own TL. <g>

Should have gotten the A-Spec, totally worth it. But congrats either way.

Though they came out October 2005, the new RLs were 2006 models. The old RLs were 2005s, if I recall correctly.

Pulled the trigger. 9am tomorrrow I turn in my 03 MDX for a Silver/Ebony 06 RL. Big change but I'm really looking forward to driving it. The test drive blew me away. The salesman had me, at a curve marked 20mph, take it at 60mph. It was like the car was on rails. That one move sold me.

I've never had the balls to take a corner that hard in my RL. As super-handling as the SH-AWD is, even it must succumb to the laws of physics. 4,000 lbs of vehicle thrown too hard into a corner and you’ve got 4,000 lbs of scrap metal.

Gater33, good point about the speed. The first time through the curve I took it at 45 but the salesman took me back and had me take it at 60. To be fair, it is marked 20mph but just about everyone takes it at 35-40mph all the time. The 20mph sign is a bit conservative.
