Propeller Shaft Whine TSB Question

Sorry to start another thread about the propeller shaft whine but my car is at the dealer now and I need help...

I have the 65 - 75 MPH whine. Easy to hear (although the dealer doesn't). He has the service bulletin about the 30-40 MPH "howl" (May 2008) but nothing on the higher speed noise and without something in writing is hesitant to do anything.

I've searched and can't find anything "official" about the higher higher speed whine. Does a TSB or Service Bulletin exist for this whine? If so, can someone either send me a copy or point me to it?

Thanks to all in advance.

LL

Just got back from the dealer. Took a ride with the shop foreman. He heard the whine, said it was "normal" transmission noise, and nothing to worry about. The car is quiet but not silent so I'm OK with it and have the noise on record if needed as some point.

Do you have a copy of the TSB for the 30-40mph whine? My propeller shaft has failed at 44k miles but im past the 6 years so im looking at $2000.00 unless I can get some goodwill from Acura.

I have not heard of a TSB for this issue as Acura have always maintained that the noise is not debilitating. My whine was at freeway speeds too and they exchanged the tranny due to it being a torque convertor. It was a goodwill fix at approx 70K and I had a real hard time getting the dealership to hear the noise, they only employ deaf people to bypass the expenses of fixing noises!

I've never heard of that TSB either. If you find it, let us know
