Prices Paid for 2006 RL

I'm considering buying the 2006 RL since the price is getting so reasonable. I still have a few months left on my TL lease. What have people paid recently for their RL ?

Thanks in advance. In NJ the low price seems to be about $40K.

You're going to get some awesome deals on what's left of the 2006s. Now is definitely a good time to buy. I believe this is, in part, because those good deals on fully loaded RLs are likely going away for good with the appearance of the 2007 base RL.

For a short time, maybe. I can't see them bringing a lot of "base model" RL's through -- they're going to bring more "techs" into the country just because it'll give the dealers an "upsell". People will come in looking for a "base" and when there's none on the lot, and it's only a few thousand more for the "tech" package....

So, when these new ones don't sell either (because Acura still isn't marketing them) there will, once again, be killer deals on 2007's, probably by about May.

neuronbob and acuralvr1, you've got me thinking hard. My TL is coming up to lease end soon and I want to wait till the '09 TL is out with SH-AWD/Acura Link and other goodies similar to what's in our new MDX and the current RL In the meantime, why not go with the RL as prices are more reasonable (I hope) now that the '07 RL is about to hit the lots? My dealer has six RLs left so, with the information I can gather on this forum, I hope to get a reasonable deal on a very nice car.
Thanks,
markd

I was thinking the same think you are. My original plan was to wait for the 4G TL to come out. But as I keep saying, it was perfect timing in several ways that led to the RL, and a fear that I wouldn't be able to get a good deal on an RL later because of the new base RL. (jft does have a good point, however.)

I haven't looked back yet. If your lease is ending and you want something other than the TL-S, why not try for an RL? Just make sure you don't get ripped on the lease if you choose to do so again....do a search of this part of the forum to see what I mean.

Do not spend more then the low 40's for a new RL. Funny, a dealer tried to selll me an '06 with around 5k miles for around 53k. It was a pathetic attempt.
