We have over 60k miles on our 05 and in the past 10k miles I've begun noticing that the color on the plastic pieces of the car no longer match the paint on the metal pieces. For example, portions of the mirror are yellowing, as is the spoiler and the bumper. But the most dramatic color mismatch is the front bumper to the fender.

I know that this was a problem on the TL's, but had thought that the paint process of the RL's had taken care of it.

Anyone else with a PWP having the same issue? Anyone know if Acura did anything for the pearl white TL's that have this problem?

 

I can see the mismatch on mines (side skirts, mud guards, and rear bumper) when I stare hard and scrutinize the car. Not too noticeable but still there.

 

Did a major detail this weekend; clay, compound, polish, and multiple coats of zaino z2 and z6. The yellowing of the bumper is still there but not as obvious as before.
