power steering issue

Ok guys, I have a 2006 RL and right after I bought it about a year ago I noticed a bit of power steering whine. It seemed to get better and haven't really noticed it until 2 nights ago. It is now pretty serious and tonight I finally got time to take off the shroud covering the power steering reservoir. The fluid level is fine but I noticed that while the engine is running the fluid has an insane amount of air bubbles in it. The fluid is frothing. Surprisingly enough the steering is still smooth but I'm wondering if anyone knows the best place to look for where the air is getting in. I know the TL's had issues with an o-ring letting air in but I haven't heard of it happening on an RL. If anyone has had this happen in an RL where was the air on yours getting in? I haven't added any fluid or done anything with the power steering. Not 2 weeks ago I had to replace the AC Stator on the car but the problem was there before I worked on that. Any info I can get would be most appreciated. Thanks guys!
