power seat light

My power seat switch light doesn't turn off at night.
How do I take it apart to replace the bulb?
Will this be a warranty item?

I am confused as to which light you are speaking of?

The power seat adjustment switches do not illuminate.

Are you referring to the MEM 1 & 2 selectors on the driver's door?

Or perhaps the seat heater switches on the center console?

It's pretty easy.

1. Purchase 2 lights. Change both sides while you are at it. Each side gets one illumination light.

2. Remove grey center trim piece around the shifter. Simply push up at the 4 corners. Do one corner at a time. It will require some force. I used my hands...Piece comes strait up and is attached by pressure tabs at all corners.

3. Disconnect accessories (unplug wires).

4. Remove the heater switch

5. Pull back the foil tape and you will see the bulbs underneath.

6. Use small plain screwdriver turn cc 1/4 turn and remove bulb.

7. Replace bulb, reassemble, and do the other side.

Do you mean they stay switched ON all the time even when you are not using the seat heater. Both the High & Low or just one.

Let us know what you do. Consider purchasing LEDs to replace the bulbs if they are incandescent. Let us know what type.

I found another post on this forum about this bulb.
I will take the car to the dealer sometime soon to replace it, it is covered under the original manufacture warranty.
