OnStar NameTags question

When I attempt to use a nametag such as "Dave Cell" or "Dave Home" OnStar repeats "Home" or "Cell". Even if I run the words together such as "Davecell" it still comes up as "Cell". In that I have a number of contacts that I need to have two numbers for... I need to have a unique NameTag for them.... that is still easy to remember...... Any suggestions??.... Thanks

I don't pretend to speak for RL owners at large but I'd be surprised if many use the Onstar service for cellphone. I don't think I'm alone in preferring to use my own cellphone, bluetooth-enabled, coupled with the HFL. Onstar's phone program is a bit pricey and I look at it as a backup in case 'bad things' happen and I can't use my cellphone.

I also use my cell phone for most of my calling...... HOWEVER..... there is a place here in Oregon where my cell phone provider does not reach.... but... OnStar does.... so I would like to make it as easy as possible to use OnStar nametags.

My point wasn't that there aren't valid reasons to use OnStar - you certainly have one - but rather that the audience here might be small in number to advise you of the intricacies of OnStar. I'd suggest taking a dual-path of this thread here and searching for a more generic (not RL-specific) community of OnStar users.

I paired my cell to the RL and prefer to use that too...BUT, Onstar gives you 30 free minutes and I wanted to use those up before they expired. I set up a few name tags for numbers, but I have experienced the same problem....they don't seem to work.
