Online parts,etc

New member here with a newly purchased 05rl w 48k miles. I can't believe what a great resource this site is for me.

I live in rural Alaska (no nav functions available) and would like to order ATF for the tranny and differentials to do the 3x3 cleaning which I have read about here.

Where can I order the ATF fluid online? Do you find it cheaper then the dealer prices?

do not use any oil's other than HONDA ! The car is designed with that oil just get it from the dealer and do it your self. after market oil's are after market problems down the road. And the car has several different oil's not just ATF.

Yes, use only Honda ATF-Z1 for the 3x3 change. Fluid is available at your local Honda or Acura dealer or online. Google it.

Search for the thread that was posted some time in the last two years. Very detailed writeup on how to do it. Even a drain and fill of 4 quarts did wonders for me.

Thanks Chaz2, I found ATF-Z1 for $5.17/qt with reasonable shipping totaling about $7/qt from Hondapartsdeals.com. What are the dealers charging for ATF-Z1?

I am still confused after searching several posts. Does the front diff/transfer case take 80-90wt lube or ATF-Z1?

Around $7 is what the dealer charges per qt.

The transfer case is different from the tranny, and it does take a heavier weight oil. 3x3 change is for the tranny only.
