OEM Front Bumper Replacement
DFW got hit with some heavy ice this week and unfortunately the car slipped a bit and hit a concrete barricade. Damage is pretty much cosmetic on the plastic front bumper (no headlight/hood damage).
Has anyone gotten a full front bumper replacement at the dealer and know how much? It's an 08 Silver RL so I'm estimating around $1200ish but would love it if it's around $800ish.
Lesson learned I guess...

It was honestly a bad choice in my part. I decided to go down a small service road where one lane was under construction so they put up concrete barricades(wall). I last control a little bit and the RL twisted just enough to catch the wall. I was going probably 10 mph. ![ugh](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/ugh.gif)
The RL did much MUCH better than the SC430 though
I didn't even dare take it out.

My bumper had some cosmetic damage and body shop quoted me 1500 to repair/paint, but that is Calif prices

I just had my front bumper reworked in a local body shop, $600. Unless the damage is major you should be OK with reworking. Don't go to the dealer or you will pay $1200. I'm in NC.

These covers can be repaired if they are cracked or scratched.
If its cosmetic I'm not sure why you would get a new one, but if you do there are board sponsors that can quote you a price.

For those that's curious in the future, All State estimated the damage to be $905.xx. McDavid Acura/Plano said they'll do it for the same price. Includes new bumper, paint, install. They're going to prep the bumper and I'm bringing it in Friday afternoon for them to mount. No rental car needed.
