Northern NJ pricing on 06 RL?
Hey guys, I am wondering if anyone knows what the 06 RL is going for in the northern NJ area. I have been hearing that low 40s is was not uncommon for the 05s brand new a while back, but I don't know if the RL sales has picked up since then to warrant dealers to no longer discount as heavily.
I already own the 3rd gen TL and enjoy it but, I am also considering adding another vehicle as well, and am interested in looking at the 06 RL or the 06 Lexus GS300 AWD.
Any help is appreciated.

DCH Montclair Acura (a sponsor for this site).
They gave us a great deal on our 05 and threw in a bunch of little accessories too.
Park Ave is good too, especially their service department.

Yeah, I was considering going to Park Ave, although I bought the TL at Ramsey Acura, I have good experinece with their service, and attitude towards their customers in general.
I wanted to get a thought as to what a good price for the 06 would be for Northern NJ area.
Some basis to start a negotiations at. I make up my mind to the RL or GS 300 awd base on the price I can get them.

The prices are so similar that you should really take both for a test drive. Both are nice cars, but thats for you to choose.
If you do go to DCH for your test drive, tell the salesman that you wish to go into the park with the two downhill hairpin turns. If he's got cojones, he'll let you blast through them. I did, and I signed the papers right afterwards.

I'll try to email DCH on Monday. I was looking at the RL without the tech package.
I was trying to get some idea as to what the 06 was selling for considering that earlier in the year, I was hearing that people were getting their new RLs for roughly aroung 43k.
I stopped by Park Ave today after work, just to look at the RL again, and the sales guy I spoke with in the past was not in, but I causally asked a sales guy if he could tell me what the RL was going for, and he told me 47k which is quite a bit more than 43k-44k.
BTW, for those who one the 3rd gen TL, the guy claimed he never heard of the butt print problems, or the faded dash problems.

Yeah, they mentioned around $45300 or $45400. I got a call from park ave acura and they gave me a quote of $45k over the phone.
I think we can do better.
Like, I said, I am also considering as GS300 AWD. Will have to see which make more sense.

DCH Montclair has quoted me an incredibly low price of $44,275 for an '06 RL.
I also received an email this morning from Island Acura stating that they are offering a 2.9% interest rate on ALL of their Acura Line except the TSX.
Things are heating up...I will keep you all posted.
