recently purchased a used 05 RL and noticed there isn't a blue light on the driver side....should there be? thanks, Frank

 

If you mean in the driver side footwell? Yes there is.

Ambient lighting is in the driver's footwell as already posted. Ambient lighting for the driver is also directed from the roof to the center console. I don't know about the drivers' side, but on the passenger footwell side, the blue light is attached to the kick panel and drops down with the kick panel...and electrical wires leading from the underside of the dash area are attached to the lights...if your drivers' side footwell light isn't working, you might check to see if the wires have been detached from the light...

 

The passenger side is there and working. The driver side might be missing as I can't see to find the bulb at all (maybe I'm not looking in the right place).
