New RL Owner
Been shopping for a couple of months while my current Lexus situation gets settled, and made a great deal at $41,000 for a Lakeshore w/Ebony.
Unfortunately, when I called yesterday to pull the trigger, the Lakeshore was gone and Black was the only thing left. Called around, but color choices are getting scarce and everyone was sticking to $42,500.
At the end of the day, I found a great dealer in Seekonk, MA, who had exactly what I wanted and offered it to me for $41,300. I added the Wood wheel and the shift knob to bring it up to $42,200.
Just signed the papers this morning, and I'm picking it up on Thursday.
This board is great - it's refreshing to read posts about how great the RL is, as opposed to CL, where every other post is about engine noise, transmission replacements, and TSBs.

Nice work on getting the car you wanted at the price you wanted. Welcome to our little group. We are indeed an exclusive club, as it seems that relatively few car buyers do their own due diligence these days. At the price you paid, the RL/LEGEND is a no-brainer. Let us know your impressions!
BTW black was all that was left when I went to buy mine 8 months ago. (Henry Ford's comment about the Model T: "They can have any color they want, as long as it's black.") NBP/Ebony is an elegant scheme for the first 5 minutes after a wash. After that, every dust particle gets its own place in the sun. Lakeshore's a nice color and rarely seen. Enjoy!!
