Guys-- I was just wondering who has to change their Cat-- if it was covered under warranty? I posted a P0420 code a few weeks back...took it into the dealer and diagnosed with bad Cat (rear) and is covered under warranty 8year80K for emissions. Wondering if this is a somewhat common occurrence? thanks for your feedback.

 

I had the same thing on my RL at 63,000 miles.

It can occur because of using cheap gas.
