Got lucky when alternater decided to quit, was driving in a parking lot doing 15 mph. Lost all power. Could have been catastrophic at 80 mph on freeway. Repaired and back on the road - love the car.

 

 

Well that's good. Eons ago we had a Volvo that we knew had been hit when we bought it. Fast forward a few years, and the main fuse board developed a crack as a result of it. Car cut out at 75MPH on the freeway while my mom was overtaking someone. Luckily she was able to pull into the left shoulder, but you can image that was the LAST time we ever touched a used hit car lol
