Need opinion on Pedals

I did a small mod this weekend and added racing pedals. The set is actually made for a TL but the Throttle, brake, and E-Brake pedals are identical. However, the dead pedal doesn't match exactly. The RL's is much bigger.

I see three options;

1) I could cut the plastic dead pedal to conform to the size of the aluminum pedal. There's enough carpet behind the pedal that it would actually work.

2) I could just install it over the existing one (as shown),

3) I could just leave it off entirely

Help!

Thanks guys for the input so far. My gut feeling was to leave it off also. Even if it fit propery, it seems like a bit much and maybe a little "youthful" for an otherwise more "mature" interior. The pedals look great! I recommend them. They tend to stand out a bit in the photo because of the flash and the alluminum surface. In real life, they look more subtle and compliment the silver accents on the center console. The Acura logo looks good with the same mark on the steering wheel.

If anyone is interested, plan on about two hours to install. Go to this thread to learn more
