Need to borrow headlights...

Yes it sounds far fetched but Im looking to borrow one or a pair of headlights (wont know unless I ask right?!?!). Just for a weekend or a week the latest. Ill give a deposit as well as FedEx labels so shipping will be fast, free and tracked both ways. The reason I'm looking is because I want to do some work on my own or possibly send them away to get worked on and cant afford down time. If you can help, let me know.

I've shipped headlights before...domestic, the cost is ~$60 each way, and internationally they are ~$200 each way via EMS. At that cost, you may be better off just buying a used set given the person giving you their set can't guarantee what you'll be doing/experimenting with them/

The difference is I work for FedEx and it doesnt cost me nearly that much fo ship. If a used pair was that cheap I would have simply bought a pair but for a used pair they are asking upwards of $500-$800. I bought a pair if JDM headlights and I want to switch the internals and make a couple modifications. I dont want to rush it in a day and want a pair to use so I can drve still.

If anyone can tell me where to get a cheap pair I dont mind going that route but at the prices im seeing them I might as well buy another pair of JDM lights.

Honestly, I don't know anyone who would willingly take off their headlights to ship and wait for them to be returned, unless someone has an extra pair just sitting around.

Your best bet would be to park your car and rent/borrow a car locally.

This is what I was going for but in any event I no longer need them. When I'm ready, downtime should only be a couple days so I'll plan accordingly.

Have you asked the few members on here that have JDM headlights? I'm assuming they probably still have their original USDM headlights laying around somewhere...

Isn't there a pair of JDMs for sale right now? It's on the market.
