NAV System Address Book
NAV System Address Book
The RL NAV system provides 100 'slots' for addresses, but split 50/50 among the two drivers. I would assume, but cannot confirm, that if driver 1 needs and uses 80 locations, the system will allow this but then will reduce the available memory locations to 20 for driver 2. Does anyone know?
What I wish Acura/Honda would do, however, is just have one address book (that both drivers could access) and then also allow access to the other driver's previous addresses (and home address!). I am not sure of the logic for separating the previous locations by driver. And why must there be two home addresses - one for each driver? Wouldn't you assume it would be the same?
Signed: Confused.

I'm all for it. But for each of us that want the shared address book there's also somebody that maybe doesn't want Mrs. RL pulling up the most recently visited addresses and seeing "Heavenly Bodies All Nude Review" or the address of an ex-girlfriend or whatever.
Just more work for me to have to program in more addresses for my wife using Fob #2 that would have already been there if it was a shared address book.
