My door locks are going crazy!
I tried searching, but wasn't really sure what keywords to use. When I put my car into park, all doors unlock except the front passenger. That, I believe, causes my lock system to lose its mind and continue to re-lock/unlock several times. It's obnoxious and embarrassing.
However, if I press the unlock switch, all doors unlock. This is also true with the key fob. Can anyone help me out? Acura told me they want to charge me $118 to just take a look at it. I'd rather fix it myself if possible...

first try messing with the settings that control when you put the shifter in park and it unlocks the door, (ps its the up and down arrow on your steering wheel) if that doesn't work, best bet would be unplugging your battery and reseting everything and then see if that solves your problem. from what you say about the remote working fine im pretty sure it has to be with something with the settings on when to unlock and lock vehicle.

Yeti,
I don't think the answer will be found in the MID (the middle information display in the cluster). It almost sounds like the car isn't communicating with the computer in the passenger door and I agree that resetting the car might fix that - I suppose even just changing some of the auto lock settings might be enough reset something. Please let us know what you find.

Best if you have the manual, so you can review the menu heirarchy.
There is a button on right side of the steering wheel with "i" on it. You hold that down for several seconds and MID will go into the setup menu. Then use same set of buttons to go up/down through menu and middle button to select.
This is from memory at the moment and I have not done this since 2005, so someone correct me if I'm wrong

Just an update:
I, too, did not know about the "i" Menu until I looked at the manual. That solved the problem with my passenger door not unlocking when switching to park.
I did disconnect the battery, and that seemed to resolve the issues with my locks flipping back and forth sporadically. Thanks to all for your help! Loving my Acura.
