My average speed is always 29 mph

I have 2 of three TSB's , I am awaiting the XM module update.

It doesn't matter how fast or far I have traveled the indicator always says 29 mph.

Does anyone else have this problem??

It is a very minor annoyance, only because it is not working correctly, I wouldrather not have the feature at all than have it wrong.

You need to reset it. It has picked up your av speed since the beginning. Go to trip A on the bottom display and then av speed on the top display and hit reset.

Yep. Also, speed for trip "A" will not reset even if the other trip figures are configured to reset on fillup.

You could try driving faster for a while

Just kidding, could not resist. Glad the situation is corrected.

I am having the same problem, only mine says I'm averagin 45 mph. I have reset the trip meter repeatedly, to no avail. [Also made sure that it is on national highways (verified in the data base).] The good news is that I got 31mpg at an average 68 mph today on a 345 mile trip. (Kinda makes up for getting 13~15 in town)

It is not the trip meter that needs to be reset, but the av speed indication.
