Also, interesting thread from the 2G CL side about how Mobil 1 is not a true synthetic. I'm sure plenty of you knew that but it was news to me.
Is there a danger of switching my oil to Royal Purple on 100k engine? It has been on Mobil 1 since the first oil change.

Amsoil. The only problem with high mileage engines converting to full synthetic is that synthetic oil will find the leaks if there are any.

ya and that really means create leaks. I worked at Honda and trust me if the car was designed for it they would have used it! UNLESS you only race the car!!!!! One of the best oils is Molylube or something like that but i use Mobil regular oil and change every 4000 km's metric unless i have been rippen it then i look at the dip stick at 3000. The biggest oil company's make the best oils i have torch-er tested almost every oil and synthetic in my turbo civic , 1000rr bike and stock Honda motor and have seen thousands of my customers cars motors and what oil they use.

I just bought 6 quarts yesterday at Walmart, but there was no rebate form. Anyone have the rebate form they can post?
It's specific to some retailers... Walmart is not one of them. Sorry
