Pathetic. A failure of marketing, pure and simple. Acura leads the industry on every single parameter that is important to consumers. They just don't know it BECAUSE ACURA DOESN'T TELL THEM!!!!
Acura needs to fire its SVP of marketing today, and start from scratch. For mid-7 figures, I would be happy to fix their problems.

BS survey. How can you ask the same group of people to rank Chevy, Dodge, Mercedes, and Acura together. People who buy Chevy's probably have little practical experience with the second tier brands. That survey means nothing to me other then to say that Acura and Audi have little recognition with the average randomly selected American. I guess that tells you something, but I'm not sure what.

Interesting. CR surveys its own subscription customers, therefore one would think that they are more value oriented or at least better informed and one would also think that Acura would be a perfect choice for them..

This is (kind of) OT. There's been a VERY active discussion of this in our Automotive News section over the last few weeks and it's also been mentioned in our megathread on the next RL. Continue the discussion HERE--CLICK.
And as I've said many times, Acura has failed in its overall marketing. Even worse was Acura's heads in their ass reply--CLICK to the survey
, see in the linked thread.
