Maintenance Minder working right??

This morning I hit 15% left on the oil life, accordingly the maintence minder in the MID went off showing service due soon and a B6. Interestingly the warning in the INFO Messages on the NAV screen did not show anything. In the past I thought I received a message in the nav screen and if I hit the enter button it told me what maintenance was required. Does there appear to be something wrong?. The Info/Messages for maintenance minder is grayed out on the Nav screen. Anyone else experience this? Is there something wrong and what is the fix?

Thanks

My understanding from the manual is that regular maintenance items appear only as codes in the maintenance minder readout. Malfunctions messages appear in the nav screen.

It is at the dealer for a new Acuralink module and a B6 service. Will let you know how it turns out.

Got a TL loaner , nice but no comparison.

I agree with Pinkcat. I don't think regular service reminders show up on the nav screen as messages that are transmitted to Acura via AcuraLink. Only malfunctions do that. At least, that's been my experience

If you hit the info button and then select messages, you will see a selection called maintenance minder.

I got a B6 TODAY

I got a new message in my nav (indicated by an envelope in the upper right corner of the screen) today when my b6 indicator came up. Funny though, just the other day it was at 20% and then boom it triggered. Not sure why it went so quickly when I haven't driven anywhere except to/from work. I just thought it was weird that it went off so quickly when it was just at 20%. I am just going to have the oil changed and tires rotated. I don't believe in paying to have the car "inspected". Also the message said something about having the SHAWD serviced.. Not sure what they would do there.

The SHAWD service would be changing the differential fluid - don't skip that service.
