Lighting on steering wheel dimmer than the rest?

Are the buttons on the RL lit, but much dimmer than the lighting on the dash, etc in your RL's?

My buttons are lit up, but are very dim relative to the buttons on the dash and radio area, etc.

Is this normal?

They've been dim in both my RL's, so I'm going to go with "Normal."

Used to have a Cadillac--the steering wheel buttons were super bright, and actually got HOT from the lights in them... it was most annoying on longer trips.

I wish the blue floor and door handle lights were brighter.

Thanks!

It doesn't bother me much, but just wanted to make sure it was normal. Thanks for the responses.

As for the blue lights, I like them too. I wish they were most adjustable.

Yep. It would be a nice touch if the certain areas of the interior lighting setup could be independently adjustable...at night I prefer a really dim dash, even to the point of turning off the NAV screen...I would appreciate the ability to adjust ambient lighting independently of the dash.

Yes, my VW Touareg allowed this - it's a nice feature.

I am the opposite. I like my dash lit up pretty well, and I'd like the footwell lighting to be a little higher, especially with this cool blue lighting.

I almost like my car to look like a car in the movies where you can see the actors faces in their cars at night. LOL How do they see the road in movies?
