Larger paddle shifters anyone

The size works fine for me. I've been adjusting to them and finding I rarely have to take my hands off the wheel to do anything in this car. Wow...

I had used the paddles when we first bought the car, but after realizing how slow the car is to respond to shifts, I've deemed it as a gimmick rather than something a true enthusiast could enjoy. So with that said, anything larger would just get in the way.
If anything, I'd like someone to develop software to reduce the time inbetween shifts and add a taller 2nd gear. The car definitely has potential, and we're just waiting for someone talented enough to exploit it.

The paddle shifters are already too big. They get in my way. I wish Honda/Acura had taken the money they spent on paddle shifters and used it on cooled seats for the US version of the RL.

Well, I found a place that makes BMW paddles and they will machine new ones for me.
I'll report back. I think the paddle response varies by throttle. If I am pushing hard, shifting is fast, wicked fast if WOT or at least pretty close to WOT. ....if I am slumbering around, it is slow.
Agree,
Acura - please fix the shifting and make it faster. Get an Audi A4 stock, put it is S mode. Copy.

They do that, ti, and other things. I am trying to get them interested and go the OEM parts for the pieces to give them. If anyone is interested (my thoughts are akin to the F430 and Lexus IS350 look......bigger but not stupid big....). Key if you note is that there is a ridge on the + one and not on the minus -...so I need them to have a tactile difference. The plus and minus signs are key too. I plan to have them on top and on bottom. Etc.

JB, maybe we can just buy the oem paddles from the dealer and send them in ?. I have a account with a Acura dealer. Might speed up the process. Let me know what you think.

Going out the door today. If anyone is interested, the OEM parts are 45 each. I suspect the upgrade will be about 1-200 for customized machining, etc. Probably a bit more.....if you use the shifters it is a bargain. If you don't.....the MDX and RDX seem to have the same parts...can anyone confirm which acuras use the same shifters so I can tell the vendor....
TIA
