Key FOB recognized but not as "Driver 1". All memory lost.
My 9 year old was playing with the "Driver 1" FOB today. He said he pushed the lock and unlock together (In hopes of figuring out how I open the windows/sunroof remotely).
Now, when I start the car using that FOB, all the settings (radio, nav, clock) go back to the default. Also, the welcome screen no longer says "Welcome Driver 1." It only says, "Welcome."
Any ideas how to reset it to get it back to be recognized as Driver 1 again?

Thanks for your quick reply. I have tried it repeatly but it doesn't relink.
Does the car need to be on or off when I do it? I have noticed that the first time I do it, the fob blinks a few times and the next time I try it actually lights a steady light. Not sure which is the one for the relink.

Some of them keeps the same

I got it to work, thanks!
I had to try about 5 times before I got it to work though and am not sure exactly what I did differently the last time that made it work.
Anyway, all is well that ends well.
Thanks again.
