K&N Filter void warranty?

Does anyone know in the state of California if you replace the OEM Intake Filter with a K&N Drop-in Filter if its voids the warranty on the car? I have an 06 RL, but still have the bumper to bumper warranty and I need some light shed on this issue.

THANKS IN ADVANCE!

I believe the law/bill is referred to as the Magnuson-Moss Act. This act protects individuals who have installed aftermarket parts which meet or exceed OEM requirements in the case of warranty situations. For example, if your transmission failed the dealership could not claim it was because of your air filter.

+1 with what 037 said, don't make a big deal about the air filter and you should be good. No need to bring out the big guns (Magnuson-Moss) about an air filter.

Check this link out it gives a summary of the act itself:
