One. They have a fine site. ClubRSX -- as a site -- is well run. I respect them for that.

The major beef with the site is the actual RSX owners that inhabit it.

I think the general consensus among our community is that the demographics simply don't mash. I think CL/RL/TL/TSX all share a commonality that RSX owners might not.

I, personally, have nothing against the RSX crowd, I've even spent time on their site.

But I do agree that as a general rule of thumb, them and us... do not mix so well.


That may also fall in line with my belief that that the RSX is not deserving of an Acura badge. Its a great car. But it does not belong under a luxury marque.

 

What I mean when I say this...

Everytime someone has asked us to add an RSX community... it is usually followed by "there's soo many a**holes at ClubRSX"

Well. I don't know that I agree. Regardless, if it were the case, why would you think they wouldn't come here too if we hosted them?

I don't think being under the AcuraZine banner would rise the level of maturity shared amongst a userbase of mostly teenagers anymore than does the ClubRSX badge.


Like I said though, I am comfortable at ClubRSX... maybe because I too am part of the young crowd. But I still don't think the average personality there mixes well with the average personality here.

I joined ClubRSX before I joined cl.acurazine. I was looking at the RSX before I bought my CLS. While the rsx site is great, I never really felt comfortable there. A-CL was just the opposite, and my good experience on a-cl probably helped in me deciding to buy a CLS. A-CL definitely influenced my decision to buy a 6spd.

I'm glad you started the RL forum... I ain't getting any younger, so a RL type vehicle is probably in my future :killer:

I too joined ClubRSX before I joined Acurazine. IMO, its definitely a different crowd over there. I am glad they havent merged with us.

As for the RL, I am with GreenMonster, we aint getting any younger.:killer:
