Jump 2006 to 2010?

Jump 2006 to 2010?
My wife's immaculate 2003 TL got totalled, so she ended up with my mint 2006 RL/48K miles and I got pocket change in return. ;-(
I'm on the rail as to whether we need or I want another RL. I'm looking at 2008 off-lease cars, but the 2010 price and interest rates have my interest. Probably need to try another car just for something different, but any thoughts from those of you that moved from an 2005-2008 to the 2009-2010? I gather the body is slightly bigger, uglier front end is a given, but the suspension and wheels look to have been improved.
Other thoughts or significant changes?
I'm getting Internet offers at $42K for the Tech Package, anyone seeing better? Haven't confirmed if that includes destination fee yet.
Thanks...

Welcome to AZ!
$42k for the Tech Package seems reasonable. In fact, it's almost the same price I paid for my RL back in 2006 (slightly more)!
I drove a 2009 when they were first released in 2008. My RL had the A-Spec suspension--it rides more firmly without loss of ride comfort. The new RL was softer than the A-Spec but not as soft as my pre-A-Spec RL. Basically, a smooth ride with little wallow in the curves. An improvement IMO.
The body is about the same size. There is slightly more rear seat space because of the shape of the front seats. I like the look of the upgrade other than the Beak/Power Phlegm/whatever you want to call the nose. It's more aggressive.
Good luck in your search!

Hi Bob, thanks, I wondered if you were still online here. I was more active when I first bought my 2006 and pretty much read everything you posted. Just created a new acct since I couldn't locate my other one...old email address issues.
Looking at 2008 RL, new RLs, even TSX since this is a second car for 30 mi RT commuting...but I'm spoiled. ;-)
Thanks again...

Then the salesman gave me a line on a 2003 TL with 25K on it. My productivity this week has really sucked outside car shopping and last time I checked insurance wasn't going to pay for that. ;-)
Thanks guys...
