J.D. Power Initial Quality survey
J.D. Power Initial Quality survey
Received my J.D. Power IQS in the mail yesterday. With 820 miles on the odo, I have no problems to report, so Acura got a clean bill of health in my response and praise for it. I can only think of one other car I've owned (1998 Audi A4) where I provided the same "all is good" response on the IQS.
So, I guess my car is an example of how the teething problems in the 2005 RL have been improved/cleaned up in the 2006 RL.
Next step is to put some real wheels and rubber on the car to maximize it's driving potential for the summer months.

I have a 2005 RL with 16,000 miles
I have had the break pads replaced once due to the squeeling noise, and I had them check into a small issue with OnStar system
Besides that, I have had no problems
It has been as solid as the previous Acura's I have owned

Ditto, my '06 has not had any of the problems posted on this forum for '05s (knock on wood). The only issue I had was a blown speaker that got replaced the first week I had the car. Without a doubt, it's had the best initial build quality of any vehicle I've owned so far.

No...please send honest responses. Issues should be brought to light if they exist not skewed for the sake of countering CR.
My responses were all positive as I've not had any trouble (at least nothing that wasn't immediately resolved with a TSB update or such...). I do have the exhaust issue but will call my SA and have no doubt they will resolve it accordingly.
