Hi....while installing a dead pedal, I pulled out the plastic pedal cover on the car (the OEM dead pedal piece). It is trivial to pull out...just pull. It just snaps out (did for me, ymmv).

The casting of aluminum underneath is nothing short of scupture (industrial). I have never seen this on anything short of some parts of a "handmade" Porsche 993 suspensions.

It doesn't really photograph well for me (anyone else who can take a really good picture..please post).

Anyway, under the skin of these cars - the workmanship is amazing. I was floored.

Are you talking about the metal below the oem dead pedal ?. Try using your camera's macro mode for taking the pic
