im always getting flashed

I'm always getting high beamed by other cars. I got my car inspected and my headlights are leveled. People like to get behind me and leave their high beams on but my tints (limo) are so dark it don't bother me. Anybody have this issue? Some dude told me at the stop light that PnP kits are bad and I need a retrofit wtf?

Is your car stock?
When you say, "levelled" do you mean aligned?
If they point level then they are too high.

if people are flashing you from behind...it means get out of the left lane...

If they are flashing you from the front...you can always respond with high beams

I don't flash people who have fog lights on as that is a sure indicator they aren't running high beams. You can try that.

its more like, i pass somebody on the right lane. I move back to right lane. Then they go full speed behind me and leave their high beams on while tail gating me.

that doesn't sound like an allignment issue. Sounds like people have a problem with the way you drive

gentle application of brakes usually gets people to back off.

Then again, if you got limo tints in the back...you can just ignore it.

People here thought you were getting flashed because you're blinding people or something with your low beams which would be pretty hard considering the complex low beam system of the RL that's self adjusting and leveling.

These people should be flashed if they are driving around with their fog lights on when it isn't foggy. Then they should be shot.

fog lights don't blind and the better you see a car on the road is a better chance u don't smack into it. I am pro fog lights on all the time.

Heck, I drive with my low beams on 100% of the time since I HIDed my high beams.

You've not been in front of those hideous Subaru wagons?

Seriously, I see your point, but the headlights are fine in clear weather. A lot of those fogs are too bright and they are a hazard to oncoming traffic.

you're talking as if you were ever in front of my 50 watt HID fogs.

Honestly, I don't stay in front of the same car for long enough to be annoyed. I guess your experience will vary with your driving style.

Mostly, I associate the same people that drive around in clear weather with their fog lights on with under-car neon, rattling trunk lids caused by sloppy subwoofers, and the lighted windshield wiper blades: Much about show, little about function. It seems very "boy-racer".

In Europe, where the motoring public is more knowledgeable and sophisticated (as a whole) than Americans, you only see fog lights on in the fog. IN Australia, fog lights are banned for use unless it's foggy or the weather is inclement. Some European car companies have their fog lights automatically switch off when you turn off the car, forcing you to turn them on only when you need them.

I'm not trying to pick a fight, but it's a bit of a pet peeve. People who drive around in clear weather with fog lights on come across (to me) as not knowing what their equipment is or how to use it properly. I always thought of RL drivers as a bit more sophisticated.

to me...driving with too many lights on beats driving with the headlights off. And thank goodness for DRL. There are tons of people who can't tell a difference between OFF, DRL and headlights. Some I have to come out of the car and explain...
