Has anyone removed the rear parcel shelf. Mine is rattling when I hit a bump and I would like to see if I can take it off and stuff some sound deadening material back there.

The car is an 08 RL with 750 miles

Any instructions would be appreciated.

BTW, the dealer says, they can't replicate it

 

I'd try another dealer or push yours. There's been plenty of documented cases of rattling sunshades. I don't thing that's something you want to tackle on such a new car that's under warranty.
