Im trying to see if how much my RL is worth or how much one would pay in the condition as is, so throw some numbers at me!

I think it's worth $20K but will you get that? I just advertised my flawless 05 with 94K miles on it for $18,500 on Autotrader.com - Zip 95476. It's white and I've had the ad for almost two weeks now.
I've had two offers one for $17K and the other for $16K (this guy just suggested he may pay the 16K so it wasn't a firm offer). I did not accept either one of them but later I may regret not taking the first one for $17K, well see. I'm what I would call a "motivated" seller since I already ordered my replacement car and it's being built as I write. I'd take $18,000 - anyone?

 

I think its still worth at aout fair market value. Dont expect to get extra for the mods. If its in good shape all around then yeah I say about 20k as well.

I've been looking for a black on black 05 RL for weeks. I am finding that a clean car with 40k will get around $20. A clean car with 50k will go for about $19 and 60k about $18.

Here is a list of cars recently sold at auction. Add $1k to the price for auction fees etc.

i would say around 22k simply because these aren't your BS mods from pep boys, that is a mugen front bumper and all the other upgrades are factory besides the wheels, but that still should actually add value to the car in my opinion because if you originally ordered the car from the dealer with the visors and aspec package it would have costed you more then so why not when you sell it

 

you might get a bit more for the mods, but the RL is a lower volume selling car and many RL buyers are looking for a stock car... they "might" be interested in aspec wheels or something like that..but they want something that looks stock / sedate / conservative..and your kit appeals to the younger buyer..which is less common in an RL..

honestly, I think a stock RL would sell faster than yours.. yours will sell, but you have to find the right buyer which is probably a smaller subset of the people shopping for an RL...

you may want to try and drop some advertisements at places wher epeople are looking at M35s, 5 series, or other slight more "sporty" luxury cars.. as yours woudl appeal to those people more so than a standard RL .... they could be swayed to want to buy yours once they saw it... jsut an idea..

too high. Maybe 19k. We just paid $22,995 for an 06, immaculate with NAV, Pearl White, complete service for the 59,000 on it and a precertified warranty which is 12 months / 12,000 miles bumper to bumper and the remainder of 7yr/100,000 on the powertrain. The dealer had two or three black on pearl black ones that were about $1200 less each but we didn't want to deal with the heat of one in summer.

if you paint the calipers back to a silver, take off the window visors, change the wheels to some nice looking 18-19" oem type wheel, and raise it up a bit I think you could get a bit more than an average RL similar to yours.

The body kit is not Gawdy and nice and sporty. Kinda MB like.

it's toug when ur selling a modded car. Sometimes it's alot easier to de-mod to get it to sell.

 

i guess your right in terms of what it is actually worth, but you figure someone who buys the car will be a fellow enthusiast and understand what he is actually buying.....anyway g/l with the sale
