If i where you I would pay down your TL with that $1500 bonus and pay it off, when its payed off throw it on craigslist for $5k cash money and wait.
The longer u wait the cheaper the RL's will get , who knows u might be able to pick up a 06 in a year for $16k?????

I don't know if anybody's bought the grey one, and it's hard to vouch for these digital snapshot reproductions. But it looks to me as if there's a color mismatch between the front fender and front door, especially on the driver's side. That would mean the fender's been repainted. Not 100% necessarily a deal killer, but it makes the history a must.

 

I ran a carfax on that one and it came back clean.. BTW I have an open account for 30 days if anyone needs a VIN ran!

 

If a car has been painted or cleaned up, but not including dents and actual damage, just the paint... does it show up on carfax and stuff?

 

Probably not, but then again a lot of stuff doesn't show up on carfax..

 

Whats scary is the transmission replacement on my CL didnt show up on carfax and it was changed out under my 7/100,000 Acura Warranty. Neither did my two window motor replacements.

I questioned carfax about this, and wondered about the accuracy of my used RL Carfax report before I purchased it. Their response was that they cant catch everything. Dont know if thats good or bad. Guess it depends on if your buyin' or sellin'.

I get stuff fixed under factory warranty, or for free basically, and don't even get paper work.. So I'm not surprised, I guess...

 

You can smash your car into a tree, get it towed to a independent shop and fixed and it not show up on carfax. If there is a police report then it will show up. So if it was in a accedent and PD dont show up and take a report then it will not be on carfax!

 

Exactly. And as far as service repairs and what not showing up it depends if that particular shop or dealership is online with carfax. If they're not then the work wont show up, if they are then it will. So that's not necessarily a bad thing but of course it could be in some cases.
