I notice their shifter is different too. The blue under seat LEDs could be aftermarket. The reverse guidlines are a common aftermarket here, Heavy has them along with TV. The smart lock could be a disable over the key detect system. Ours will not allow you to lock either fob in the trunk, and will only allow you to lock a fob in the car if you have the other one outside within range. That's my guess.

Can the guidelines be added to the RL camera or do you need an aftermarket camera?

Where can I get the LEGEND lettering for the trunk (without spending a fortune)?

LL, not that I know of. You would probably have to swap cameras.

White05, I have seen them on eBay for $40. Haven't found anything cheaper.

I would like to hear from a member familiar with the Japanese Legend. I am thinking everything but the "smart" button is aftermarket or borrowed from KB2 Legends.

Can't speak about the Japanese spec, but in Europe you get the underseat LEDs as standard and the folding mirrors. The shifter is in a straight line with no sport mode like the Japanese, but we have to use an old-fashioned key to start. My owners manual is full of additions available only in the far east and so I would think all of what you see here is standard spec.

Thanks for sharing that. I wonder why they didn't give us folding mirrors until '09. Also, the under seat LEDs seem so simple to keep. Why design seats with them and without them? I am, however, glad they gave us the knob shift capability.

In addition to mentioned above UK version- outside handles LEDs, rear camera, sun/moon roof, Bluetooth HFT, SatNav, heated/ventilated front seats are also standart.
Optional are: parking (back up) sensors, CMBS, LKAS, ACC, R18 wheels and wood steering wheel.

The last RL I looked at in the showroom had all of these features but the USA gets a choice between LKAS or attorneys. Unfortunately we ended up with the attorneys.
