Greetings: I have a 2005 rl that is making a high pitch whine only when I hit the gas pedal while driving, regardless of gear or speed. Propeller shaft and differential whine seems to be speed specific according to some of the threads. On a side note, the power steering reservoir does not have air bubbles, so I'm assuming its not a ps pump gasket issue. Has any other members with the same issue ever get some resolution? Thanks.

 

Could be one of the numerous pulleys on the drive belt. Could be a vacuum leak. Does it sound like air or friction?
