Hi Everybody,

I've been hearing this for awhile and not sure if its normal. During idle, I hear high pitch noise towards the back of car.

Its almost like a consistent alarm noise. I'll try to record it later today if the wind conditions decrease.

The car is going in for service this week and will have the tech take a listen.

Anybody else hear this. Thanks.

 

I heard a similar sound when I was taking pictures of the car while the engine was still running. The sound cycled loud/quiet over the course of a few minutes, and wasn't audible inside the car.

 

You are right Rob144. You can't hear inside the car.

I noticed it yesterday. Its like a high-pitch whine. I'll check with the dealer. I would assume its normal.

 

It's the fuel pump and it's normal. I asked about this at the dealer last month.
