HELP! Ignition Is locked

So my 2005 wouldn't unlock with the fob, had to use the key, I've been trying to jump it- charging it for about for 15 min,and the ignition is like locked. I've tried to move the steering wheel and the shifter. The ignition will not turn into 1 or 2 even with the key placed inside it..: any suggestions?

and just to confirm, you've undone the terminals to the car prior to charging right?

Your steering wheel is locked. Turn it a lil hard to the right and turn the ignition

its a safety lock i guess to keep it from being stolen. Alot of hondas and acuras have this

It's not a steering wheel lock and it's not the battery

I replaced the battery and it is having the same symptoms. The lights on the front doors do not turn on when you open the doors but the overheads work and the rear door lights and leds... all the fuses are intact. My last RL the door handle shorted out the entire car but the door handle fuses are intact. Just had the car towed to the dealer.....

Update

It was my door handles that shorted out the car. For some reason it didn't blow the fuse 🤔

You've had two RLs both of which had a door handle immobilize your car???

This is not an uncommon failure mode.
