Help : Fixing the AC / Changing the Stator
Help : Fixing the AC / Changing the Stator
My 05 Acura RL is blowing hot air.
My local shop wants $800 to replace the whole compressor.
From reading the forum, replacing the Stator on the compressor which is around $100 should do the trick
I would like to attempt this myself. I figured with ($100 in parts + $100 in additional tools).. if I could do it in one whole day.. it's worth it.
Thank you in advance.

- What are the steps?
- What kind of tools do I need?
