I am still trying to fix the light on CMBS. I guess my next step is to find a reader to read the codes. I tried calling AUTO zone and they said their reader will not read the code for CMBS.The closest Acura dealers is 5 hours away. Any ideas on the right tool for the job would help and if I need a computer to read it all I have is a apple. Thank you for the help

any honda dealership should be able to take care of that. Don't believe any affordable reader will work for CMBS codes

Yep, both Honda and Acura dealers will have the HDS system and as you learned, only the HDS can read proprietary codes on Honda and Acura vehicles.

Where are you located? If you are in Seattle, I can probably hook you up. But my guess is you're not even close.
