Most exhaust shops have these in stock:
http://www.summitracing.com/search/D...Donut-Gaskets/

Then they will flare the end of the pipe once its on.

Will this work for the special 3 bolt pattern on the end of the PCD?

Also should I get 2.25 Flex pipes for the part of the exhaust right after the precats? I don't want the engine movement to bust off the precats or the flanges on my exhaust?

I can't find anything with the exact bolt pattern I found these:

http://www.mandrel-bends.com/catalog...ange-2200.html

But if you look at the picture from RV6P the shape is more of a square with triangle on top.

I've always had problems finding these. My buddy NVA-AV6 (Paul) knows where to get them. I would just ask Richie honestly. He could probably ship them out pretty quick

Do you guys think I should get the flex pipe to lessen the stress on the precats and flanges when I hit bumps or when I WOT and it causes the engine to shift? I see that Ambiguous didn't do it when he did his so I am not sure how important it is.

I found these for 16.09 each, T304 Stainless Steel, double braided

I bought two of the flex pipes 5.5" of flex, one will go on each exhaust mounted in the same position along the exhaust, shouldn't have to worry about any flanges breaking or any unwanted exhaust rattling, going to have him use the old exhaust hanger positions too.

Right choice for sure.
I used those flexible parts when i made stainless steel exhaust for my -93 Coupe Legend.
Less vibration.

I also bought this:

If you look at the picture in the first post, this is to make the initial bend, I didn't know if his mandrel bender has a small enough bend radius and I wanted to make sure it wasn't wrinkled so this should help him.

These are the flex pipes I ended up going with (FXP-225-55-725)

These are the adapters I got for the resonators (Walker Exhaust 41963):

I think this is going to turn out really good, I put alot of research into picking out the exhaust and the resonators watching youtube videos, reading reviews, and finding the best pricing. Hopefully if this turns out good it will encourage more people to modify their exhaust or do other upgrades. I mean a RV6 Jpipe is $500 shipped, I am getting this whole system for a little less than $800, and its a true dual exhaust with new mufflers and resonators.

Also Richie never got back to me on if he could sell me the exhaust flanges, a simple yes or no would suffice. Not surprised though, doesn't seem like he is interested at all unless you want to put down big $ on a Jpipe or one of his other expensive parts. I guess I will have to look elsewhere or use my existing ones. Does anyone else know where to get the exhaust flanges?

Maybe, hopefully he will tell me tomorrow, It shouldn't take long to count and see if you have any extra flanges available. I have a feeling he won't have any avaliable and if he does I am sure he is going to want in the upwards of 50 or more per flange..

I asked XRL8 and Heeltoe on Saturday and they got back to me this morning, unfortunately neither sell them.

Also I looked at the Jpipe and guess what....the flanges look they were made for 2.25" pipping BUT they used some weird termination technique to attach the pipe to the flange and the pipe is only 2" wide. To reuse the flange I will have to use a disk grinder to cut the pipe off flush to the flange and then I will have to use a die grinder to get the flange opening back to 2.25"...what a bitch fucking Honda and using their own proprietary flanges can kiss my ass.

Give Richie some time, I know the 2nd Batch of 3G exhausts is eating up MOST of his time but his intentions are always good. Kudos to you guys looking to pioneer some fun stuff on the RL side.

I could use a coupler, but that would be an immediate bottle neck and would defeat the whole purpose of using 2.25" piping

I suppose I misunderstood the description. I was thinking the coupler could go on the outside of the pipes, but after looking up "flange" I think I understand what you mean.

Maybe pictures would help us to come up with a solution.

Also some more teasers, here are the mufflers got them today, not very pretty but the price is right and any muffler is going to look like shit after awhile.

Im starting to regret this, I can't find one fucking person to sell or make me these fucking flanges. Thank you Honda for making it a bitch to do a simple fucking exhaust job. Couldn't you assholes just have stuck with universal 3 bolt design??? It looks like these things are going to cost me $150 or more to get made or a little under 100 if I spend alot of time doing them myself.

I really hate using old weathered parts and cutting my factory jpipe but that seems like the only economically option, this whole system is getting close to $900 and I didn't even get expensive mufflers or resonators.

hahaha, if it were easy we would all have custom exhaust.

You will be more frustrated when you start putting it together.

How hard would it be to just go ahead and sacrifice the flange on the oem exhaust/jpipe?

The ridiculious part is these are actually the same ones on the TLs and on some of the accords and they are on some older models of chrysler sebring, avenger, dodge ram.

AND THE ONLY PLACE ONLINE THAT SELLS THEM IS IN AUSTRALIA WTF.

http://www.bestmufflers.com/bshop/pr...a1aba57fc3eac0

Anyways okay question, if I do these myself I don't want to do stainless steel, where do I buy 1/4" thick aluminized steel at? What the hell is even the number code for aluminized steel?? I know stainless is like 304 and 409, what is the code for aluminum coated stainless?

Well the time I spend using a disk grinder to cut the old flanges off flush, then I still have to enlarge the whole to the 2.25"

I might as well get a small 12 * 12 sheet and cut my own using a 57mm sheet metal saw, and a metal cutting bit for a jigsaw, and some various carbine burrs for smoothing things up.

Then I can make some extra of these and charge $40 a flange on the forums since its apparent that nobody has these freaking things

All I can say is this exhaust better sound good or I'm going to be one unhappy person lol

Okay I ordered an A36 3/8 12" x 12" sheet. 31 dollars on ebay.

Will pick up this on amazon tomorrow some time:
Bosch HSM225 2-1/4-Inch-57mm Sheet Metal Hole Saw

Then I will need these:
Amazon Amazon

I found gaskets for cheap at autozone/advancedautoparts:
http://www.autozone.com/autozone/par...ntifier=344092

I will be using this video as a guide lol:

Its probably going to take a little bit to get through the 3/8 inch but it will be worth it I hope.

It is hard. Have made something like that few years ago.
Depending of your tools and what you have to attach that sheet metal plate, it might be easier to draw those flanges using that gasket as a template and make holes before you cut that flange out of the plate. It is more easier to hold that big plate when you are drilling than "small" flange.
When you are drilling make sure that you have sharp drills and dont use too much rpm`s so that that the tip of the drill dont burn, use plenty of cutting fluid.

Another suggestion I'd make is to use a grinder to make the cuts. It'll take less time, although will end up less "perfect looking".

I bought a few of these a while back to get flanges for the honda. IDK if they have what fits though.

I search on ebay for "Honda test pipe" ~$30/each

$32/each

Shit, a day late, I would have just bought those and cut the flanges off, well anyways....I bought a 3/8" 1'x3' steel plate locally today for 43 dollars. Then I spent another 70 on a decent jigsaw, metal cutting blades, and cutting oil...

Whatever you do DO NOT BUY THESE GASKETS

http://www.autozone.com/autozone/par...ntifier=344092

I thought these would fit out flanges but these are substantially larger than our flange. So please ignore all the references in this thread I made to them. Does anyone know where to get the right ones?

I think Rich can probably sell me these.
