My 2005 RL door ppocket fell off! The bottom plastic pins broke off. My mechanic who works for Acura thinks he can fix it. Has anyone had this happen? Any remedies without buying a new panel?

Like Tampa said, just buy a new one if you can.

 

I purchased mine with this exact problem. Been meaning to buy a new pocket but just havent gotten around to it.

 

So it just hangs open?

 

LOL no. The pocket door is completely off of the door panel. It's in my trunk, there is just no pocket door on the door panel. looks similar to the diagram Tamap posted. Funny thing is, if I was missing the passenger I probably wouldve fixed it already LOL It never really bothered me until this thread
